Amy in Green Sweater

This painting was a demo for a portrait class I was teaching. It is the second time I have painted from this photograph of my daughter, Amy and quite a different style from my older one done in the eighties. The older one was more of a drawing done with Rembrandt pastels, the only quality ones available at that time. This one is done with a variety of softer pastels in a more painterly fashion.
