Walk By the Water

This is a scene that I painted in pastels at Hilton Head, SC  several years ago. I remember that I was in a class and struggled with the instructor's technique, so I decided to paint it again . . . I decided to experiment with a new way to paint with oils, so this was created entirely with a palette knife and no brushes. I suppose I succeeded . . . I liked the way it turned out, and evidently someone else did too, as it sold before I had a chance to enjoy it!
