Garden Path

This piece was painted from a photograph of a beautiful North Carolina Garden. The flowers were so overwhelming that I zoomed in and selected this smaller section. I think that it worked better so I could focus on the flowers in the foreground for the center of interest and fade out the background to make it appear to be in the distance. Otherwise the painting would have been too busy with the huge garden of numerous flowers.
