Icy Morn

This pastel was painted over a watercolor painting that I wasn't happy with and had not finished . . . a technique which I recently discovered was fun and able to preserve a painting that I probably would have tossed. In applying pastel over watercolor, I am able to alter or cover things that I don't like.  I love these cool grays . . . I can feel the cold when I look at this painting.
