Country Campfire

This little painting was done as a demo for one of my classes.  It is a view of Stone Mountain, near Winston-Salem, NC. I loved the warm foreground colors against the cooler mountains as they receded.  The little campfire, burning in the distance, was a welcomed break and light contrast to the rolling landscape.  It was fun to paint.
