Love My Big Sister

This is a favorite photographs of my two daughters when they were small . . . the fall colors, the '80's dresses and especially the way Amy is looking up in admiration at her big sister, Allyson with the back lighting outlining her little face.  I have always wanted to paint it and finally did it!  It was a bit of a challenge to paint, and I repainted her little face several times before I was happy with it.  When Amy unexpectedly saw it hanging in my hallway, tears fell down her face.  I knew I had captured them as I wanted.
