As you can probably tell, I love painting the mountains, I suppose, because I have hiked there so many times. Various scenes catch my attention especially ones with rows and rows of mountains in the distance, getting lighter, softer and cooler in temperature as they recede. This was obviously in the spring or summer as the wildflowers were prolific . . . such a gorgeous day!!
