This card was inspired by the Joan Walsh Anglund characters and represents our family of two and our little peekipoo dog, Coquey. It was first drawn in black with pen and ink and printed onto card stock for the cards. The color was added with watercolor on each individual card. The majority of my work in the '70s was watercolor since it was an easy clean-up medium while I was working full time or a stay-at-home mom with two little girls.
