Senorita

"Senorita" is an original pastel portrait of an Ecuadorian girl. It was painted from a photo that I took while on a trip with Associated Artists of Winston-Salem, NC. We were staying at Hacienda Cusin near the little town of San Pablo in the Andes Mountains. She was standing outside a little bakery where her mother worked. She caught my eye because she was so precious and shy. I knew I had to paint her.
