This lazy boat caught my attention late one afternoon as s friend and I were visiting Beaufort, NC on a plein aire painting trip. I love the contrast of the smooth white boat resting there among the textured marsh grasses. It seemed settled in for the evening. I wanted to capture it before the sun set.
