Fruit and White Cup

This was a still life demo for a class I was teaching. I believe that the white pottery cup stands out as the focal point.  Originally the greenery was not there, and I felt that the painting looked so plain and boring.  I added it to tie together the brightly colored fruit and the dull, neutral pottery and background. I believe that it harmonizes the painting.
