October Grasses

The way the sunlight shone on this gorgeous grass plant, just invited me to paint it. I would see it every afternoon as my class was ending and finally one day, I sat in front of it with my pastels and painted away. I chose a piece of green textured mat board to paint on since it reminded me of the green foliage that was in the background.
