Reynolda Summer

"Reynolda Summer" was painted on the grounds of Reynolda, the estate of the late Richard J. Reynolds, tobacco tycoon and founder of Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston-Salem, NC. I painted it on location one warm summer morning because I wanted to capture the feel of the gardens there with the signature gazebo and beautiful flowering plants, so typical all around the gardens at Reynolda.
