This is one of the models that my drawing group hired so that we would have the opportunity to work from a live model. This allows the artist to feel and capture the personality of the person where a photograph does not. In this drawing I tried to capture the big shadow shapes that I saw in order to give true 3-dimensional form to the portrait.
