This is a small piece painted on the grounds of Reynolda in Winston-Salem, NC. It was painted rather quickly as I just wanted to capture the feeling of the many daffodils on the property. I did this by focusing on the flowers in the front and letting them taper off into the distance. Daffodils are abundant in our area and signal the arrival of spring.
