Amy and Humpty

This was a demo for a class I was teaching. I persuaded, my daughter, Amy, to sit on the art room table with her beloved stuffed "Humpty" so that we could draw her. I was demonstrating drawing the darks with values of charcoal and the lights with white pastel; the gray paper served as the middle tone.  This was done years ago, and I have always loved this little drawing . . . I feel like I captured her face well.
