Winter Forest

This winter landscape began as a watercolor painting some years ago. I discovered it recently and decided to enhance it with pastel. The rough texture of the paper along with the clear acrylic pastel ground that I applied to it made the process a bit challenging.  I love how the sunlight warms the otherwise cold wintry day.
