Enhanced

This began as a copy of a sketch done with a black marker and white acrylic pen. I then cut out and arranged pieces of other sketches and decorative oriental papers on top creating a collage with acrylic medium. I then enhanced the piece with colored pencils, metallic watercolors and/or acrylic paint. Occasionally when I am working on one of these collages, I will add delicate and perhaps more textured and/or translucent papers to tie the piece together.  This technique is so much fun and has so many possibilities.
