Pilot Mountain

Pilot Mountain is located just outside Winston-Salem, NC. I was painting at Dancing Doe Farm and had this beautiful view of "The Pilot." It is such a landmark for the people in this area . . . good view and popular place — a painting, I believe. I love the cool purple mountain receding into the distance contrasted with the warm yellow greens in the foreground.
